Supply of Pre-Cast Concrete Barriers to Victoria Park

Description of the goods or services required

The requirement is for the manufacturer and supply of pre-cast concrete barriers for future installation along the seafront area of Victoria Park, Arbroath, Angus, Scotland – UK. Victoria Park is on the Eastern side of Arbroath and is a popular tourist and recreational area. The concrete barriers stretch along the entire length of Victoria Park and sections of the barrier have been deteriorating over time.

The installation of these units will be let as a seperate contract.

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Minimum standards and qualification required

Tenders will be evaluated on the basis of the following specific price / financial and quality criteria (in descending order of importance) as demonstrated from the Tender Documents, including the Quality Statement(s):

a.The tender price of the supply(70%)

b.The methodology statement setting out how it will carry out the Services and provide the goods in accordance with the Contract by the backstop date of 31 March 2012.(30%)

Only Tenderers meeting or exceeding those standards will proceed to the third stage to have their Tenders evaluated.

Assessment of the quality elements of the Tender will be on the basis of:

(a)Quality Statement submissions for those processes to be assessed as part of the quality evaluation of Tenders.

(b)Tender evaluation presentations to support the Purchaser’s understanding and clarity on the Tender.

The Conditions of Contract is NEC Supply Short Contract.
