With the existing Contract expiring this Summer for The Supply of Staff & Student Uniforms, the University of Wolverhampton is looking to re-tender this category and is therefore conducting this procurement with a view to putting in place a University Contract for the next three years to cover the requirements of the University.

12/04: The Supply of Staff and Student Uniforms to The University of Wolverhampton

With the existing Contract expiring this Summer for The Supply of Staff & Student Uniforms, the University of Wolverhampton is looking to re-tender this category and is therefore conducting this procurement with a view to putting in place a University Contract for the next three years to cover the requirements of the University.

In general the chosen supplier of Staff and Student Uniforms will be required to provide:

• High quality ‘value for money’ uniforms which will remain in a ‘fit for purpose’, suitable condition for at least a three year period.
• A provision for students to be measured at pre-determined agreed dates before the uniforms are required.
• Efficient complete delivery of uniforms on pre-determined agreed dates to ensure full customer satisfaction
• A facility to hold a small buffer stock for ad-hoc orders to ensure high fulfilment levels.
• A Management System that provides detailed management information such as; records of uniform issue, returns and purchases.

The indicative spend based on previous spend data for this category is around £50k-£55k per year.

It is intended that the chosen supplier will supply Student Uniforms for the commencement of Semester 1 (September 2012) to include prior measurement of students.

All applicants will be required to register their organisation and complete a Supplier Pre Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) as part of the Procurement process (PQQ Stage1), which can be accessed online via the link below. Please note the deadline for returning the PQQ is March 5th, 2012 (12noon). (All PQQ submissions will be assessed and a short list agreed for progressing to stage2).

(Information for the Invitation to Tender Stage “Stage2”) – Invitation to Tender documents will be issued to those applicants that have progressed to stage 2. Tenders will be evaluated and the contract will be awarded to the most economically advantageous tender, dependant on Quality & Price against the pre agreed set of evaluation criteria as set out below;
Evaluation Criteria: Quality (65%) + Price (35%)
