The FCO has an overseas population of UK officer and dependants of approximately 7 000 spread across every continent and has a requirement for the supply of vaccines, pharmaceutical and general medical supplies to FCO clinics in 9 overseas locations and the provision of first aid kits to all 270 FCO posts in 170 countries.
FCO Health & Welfare operate its own clinics to provide GP type primary care in locations which have a large family and HMG presence and where the local medical facilities are below NHS standards.
