Description of the contract

To enable a research study of enhancements to a pre-diabetes intervention in Southwark we need 350 smart pedometers with following functionality: • Smart pedometer capable of tracking the daily number of steps an individual takes and providing a visual display of steps taken for users • Stand-alone product that does not require a smart phone to operate • Minimal operating burden and need for technical understanding for users • This should not include any additional services/information support around walking plans, meal guides, motivation etc. • Ability to wirelessly upload exercise information. which can then be pushed to a centralised, electronic referral system (provided by Refer-All http://www.refer-all.net/) and ability to integrate with the Refer-All IT system.
