Description
An exciting opportunity to design and install a new play area in Belper, Derbyshire. Also to supply and install additional equipment within 2 established play areas to improve play value and reduce anti-social behaviour.
Amber Valley Borough Council – Landscape Services has successfully secured Section 106 funding to improve 3 play areas in Belper, Derbyshire.
Playground suppliers/manufacturers are invited to express their interest in the design, supply and installation of the following two contracts:
•Walker Bottom recreation ground play area – A complete re-development of the existing equipped play area, to replace with new all-steel equipment, including associated safety surface for the approximate total value of £45,000.00.
•The re-design of Ashford Rise play area to include new play equipment within an existing multi use games area. The equipment will require concrete edged wetpour set into the existing macadam surface. As part of the same contract Ash Acre play area requires additional equipment to improve play value. A combined approximate value for the project is £40,000.00
All play equipment and associated safety surface shall comply with EN 1176 and EN 1177.
Detailed tender documents will be provided to the successful list of contractors.
