II.2.1)Total quantity or scope:
This contract is to provide PSNI with:
— the training records management solution,
— solution implementation,
— training,
— solution support and maintenance,
— additional service development days,
— change management support.
PSNI may also avail of additional solution enhancements if required throughout the lifetime of the contract.
The following enhancements may be required during the contract period.
— noise exposure recording and minimisation — this is currently monitored on a rolling daily and weekly basis for all Firearms Instructors. This information is currently captured in an excel spreadsheet to ensure that defined thresholds are not exceeded,
— officer acknowledgements — PSNI require officers to acknowledge receipt of a number of training elements and complete a declaration of non-injury,
— specialist areas — subject to the availability of funding and the future requirements of the business, PSNI may seek to extend the proposed solution to encompass CoP National Training License requirements for the following specialist areas:
– public order training,
– driver training,
– search training,
– dogs training,
– armouries — PSNI may seek to extend the proposed solution to encompass Armoury Management. PSNI have circa 90 armouries distributed across the estate. It may be a consideration that at a future point the proposed solution would be able to manage the inventory of these armouries.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 0 GBP

Description of these options: The following enhancements may be required during the contract period.

Tenderers are not required to tender for these aspects in this tender. The PSNI will if required seek from the solution provider prices for these requirements at the time required. However PSNI reserve the right to benchmark the prices quoted by the solution provider and procure from sources demonstrating better value for money.
It is estimated that:
Core services: circa 500 000 GBP over 5 years.
Additional Modules: 500 000 GBP to 1 500 000 GBP over 5 years — Subject to funding.
