The contract will support the 4.5″ MOD1 gun including Gun mounting, Loading equipment, Endless chain magazine hoist, Muzzle velocity calibration and Range equipment installed on RN Ships and shore based training units. Services will include scheduled maintenance, unscheduled repairs and emergency cover including CONDO worldwide together with, but not be limited to, obsolescence, design changes and overhauls/refurbishments. Provision of spares will be the responsibility of the Contractor through the Contractor Logistics Support element of the Contract. The contract will be for a period of 5 years with an additional 5 years in option years. The support of the barrel and all ordnance will form an option within the Invitation for tender.
Estimated value excluding VAT:
Range: between 20 000 000 and 100 000 000 GBP
