Worcestershire County Council are looking to commission a range of services to support and/or accommodate young people and young families. Providers will be invited to bid for a range of provision made available in different locations, with coverage across the county of Worcestershire. The requirements are for the provision of:
Lot A: Housing Related Support for young people;
Lot B: Safe Base short term, emergency accommodation for young people aged between 16 and 17 (at the time of placement), who are experiencing homelessness;
Lot C: Supported lodgings (including emergency supported lodgings);
Lot D: Support and/or accommodation for care leavers — Fixed (i.e. accommodation and support) or floating (support only) intensive support packages for Care Leavers (18-25) with complex needs who may have been unable to maintain a tenancy.

Lot C : supported lodgings (including emergency supported lodgings) — accommodation in a host’s home for any young person aged 16-17 who are not yet ready or able to live independently, or accommodation for children who are Looked After (aged 16 and 17) or care leavers aged 18-25. The Council will fund the cost of the host, which includes the cost of delivery of accommodation and support. The council will also fund the annual cost to the provider of recruitment, training and support of the host.
