The Collaborative Framework Agreement will support the Tees Valley Local Authorities described above to fulfill their obligations for the provision of support services for people with autism and allow people greater choice and control over their lives and will support people who are currently in transition between children’s and adults services. The model will enable young people to remain with their existing provider and for providers to continue to support the person into adulthood, providing greater stability at an important milestone in a young person’s life.   In order to support the development and delivery of local services, and promote consistency and quality of service provision across the region we are undertaking this competitive tender process, hosted by Hartlepool Borough Council with support from representatives from each respective Local Authority through the process. Following the competitive tendering process, Redcar & Cleveland, Middlesbrough, Stockton and Hartlepool Councils will enter into a Collaborative Framework Agreement to support the provision of care and support services for children and/or adults with an autism spectrum disorder.
