Title

Supported Living Provider (Wellgreen)

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

We require a registered (Care Inspectorate) social care Provider to deliver a 24 hour care and support service for six or possibly eight adults with physical and learning disabilities who will be moving into three (or possibly four) adjacent bungalows close to the town of Dumfries at the beginning of 2013. It is Dumfries and Galloway Council’s intention to commence this Contract in January 2013 but as service commencement is dependent upon the readiness of the accommodation, contract commencement could conceivably be delayed. The service will provide personal, practical, housing, emotional and social care support for the tenants.

2.4

Total quantity or scope of tender

Indicative hours at contract commencement total 323 hours per week + 7 waking nights.

These figures are approximate and are based on levels of service users need at the present time. These figures will be reviewed and revised closer to the contract commencement. These figures are also based on six service users moving to Wellgreen. The site has potential to accommodate a further two service users which would likely have their needs met by the Wellgreen provider (increasing the size of the spot contract)

3 Conditions for Participation

3.1

Care providers will be required to be registered with the Care Inspectorate prior to contract commencement.
