Hull City Council invites you to attend a Supported Living Dynamic Purchasing System virtual engagement session. The way that we arrange supported living placements is changing. Back in November last year you may have attended a supported living engagement event at The Guildhall, Hull, where we discussed the current challenges in procuring supported living placements and the need to introduce a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) into the market. We are now pleased to tell you that this system will be launched in September 2020 and we would like to invite you to attend a virtual engagement session on 9 September to find out more. The introduction of the DPS will promote the supported living model where the philosophy of ‘increasing independence’ is key. It will establish a framework of quality providers in Hull, which in turn, and most importantly, will provide people with greater choice, will ensure that the most suitable placements are identified and will support individuals to fulfil their potential. Please see more information on the document attached.
