Through a formal EU procurement process Surrey County Council is looking to identify and appoint a specialist supplier who is capable of completing a full video survey of the entire road network which Surrey County Council is responsible for maintaining.
This equates to approximately 4 976 km of carriageway with a mixture of A roads B roads and remaining minor roads.
Ideally the video survey would need to be fully completed and data supplied to the Council before 31.3.2015. The data set must be in a format that is compatible with County Councils existing Visualised Highways Asset Management System.
In conjunction with the full road network video survey a more detailed asset information is required of 3 specific highways asset types. These are as follows:
Pedestrian Guardrails (line feature),
Bollards and Marker posts (point feature),
Signs (point features).
