The requirement has been divided into 2 lots — Lot 1 — Kitchen Appliances and Lot 2 — Furniture, Bedding and Other Items. Tenders may be submitted for 1 lot or both lots. The maximum number of lots that may be awarded to a tenderer is 2. The requirement of this tender is to appoint a supplier to provide a service (Lot 1) to supply, deliver and install (as required) Kitchen Appliances and a supplier to provide a service (Lot 2) to supply and deliver Furniture, Bedding and Other Items to residential properties on behalf of the Council. The contracts are to start on 1.10.2015 for a period of 1 year with a possible 1 year extension. The supplier appointed for each lot will also be required to remove old items for recycling or safe disposal. The provision of office furniture is not required for this contract.
Duration of Contract will be an initial period of 12 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
