Yorkshire Water are seeking to replace 2 multiframe IBM TS3500 robotic tape libraries with enterprise class drives which provide the short and long-term storage for the backup and archive data for all Kelda Group’s IT systems. Any proposed solution must be fully compatible with multiple Open Systems hosts in an IBM Tivoli Storage Manager environment. YW are open to solutions which are tape based, disk based, or a hybrid of these two. The proposed solution will require support and maintenance for the life of the Agreement.
