Description of the contract

Courses leading to ASA Level 1 & 2 in teaching Aquatics. The supplier will be required to provide: 1)Registration of the courses and all other contact with the awarding body 2)Training, continuous assessment and internal verification of the courses 3)Books, handouts, examinations and certification for the successful candidates 4)Transportation of staff and equipment The MOD will provide: 1)A suitable classroom 2)3 hours pool time per day 3)Security passes for Staff and vehicle(s) The National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches may also be required. The first course is likely to commence on 19 June 2012.

Companies/organisations interested in this requirement should submit an Expression of Interest by e-mail to the commercial officer detailed in the advert. Within this response companies/organisations must provide detailed information and evidence of their ability to meet this requirement. There will be a limit to the number of companies/organisations that will be invited to tender or to participate further, typically the maximum is six and this may be determined through the evidence provided in the Expression of Interest or through a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) being issued to those companies/organisations that provided the details required above. The PQQ will include further down-selection criteria. The Contract length is estimated to be 12 months with an option for an additional 12 months.
