This procurement is being conducted jointly by Knightstone Housing Association and Selwood Housing Society (jointly the ‘Employer’).
The Employer uses telecare equipment to support individuals in their independent living and where the residents are vulnerable and/or need external support. The telecare equipment uses alarms and sensors linked to a communication device to enable remote monitoring.
This tender is for contracts to provide servicing and maintenance of telecare equipment for 5 years with extension option for a further 5 years. The contractor will enter into separate contracts with Knightstone and Selwood.
The detailed scope and specification of the Services is detailed in the tender documents, which can be downloaded from the Supplier portal (see URL supplied).
Tenderers are encouraged to attend a briefing on 14th March when there will be presentations regarding the contracts and an opportunity to ask questions. Details are provided in the ITT.

The Employer uses telecare equipment to support individuals or groups of individuals in their independent living, actively managing risks. This is carried out through the use of remote monitoring, detection, and response. The telecare equipment uses a combination of alarms and sensors linked to a communication device to enable remote monitoring.
The Employer positions this equipment in housing where the residents are vulnerable and/or need external support.
This lot is for contract to provide servicing and maintenance of telecare equipment for Knightstone’s sheltered schemes, details of which are included in the tender documents.

Selwood Housing has homes in Wiltshire, Somerset and Bath and North East Somerset. Selwood Housing is based in Trowbridge and operates in Wiltshire and Somerset within 1 hour of our office.
II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The Employer uses telecare equipment to support individuals or groups of individuals in their independent living, actively managing risks. This is carried out through the use of remote monitoring, detection, and response. The telecare equipment uses a combination of alarms and sensors linked to a communication device to enable remote monitoring.
The Employer position this equipment in housing where the residents are vulnerable and/or need external support.
This lot is for a contract with Selwood to provide:
— Servicing and maintenance of telecare equipment;
— Emergency out of hours call out service;
— Smoke detector cleaning.
The contract will cover only Selwood’s sheltered schemes and lifeline properties, the locations of which are detailed in the Pricing Model.
