This contract will provide the residents of Rotherham in non-council properties with modular ramp access. The successful provider must be able to supply all materials and detailed drawings for each property before installation. RMBC mainly use one supplier at present for this service, any stock currently held with the incumbent provider will need to be utilised through the new agreement.
The ramps must be modular to enable recycling at each property when the ramp is no longer required. The agreement will include the installation, removal and storage of the modular ramps for RMBC.
The framework will be awarded initially for a period of one year with the option to extend at the sole discretion of RMBC for a further three years on a year by year basis thereafter.
Total spend over the 48 month contract period is estimated to be £440,000.00, however this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volume of business is indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on Rotherham Councils actual future needs.
