SCAS promote high standards of cleanliness across all operational vehicles, minimising cross contamination and maximising patient safety, therefore the scope of the Make Ready service may comprise (but is not limited to):
— Internal vehicle cleaning to the Trust’s infection control standards;
— Exterior vehicle cleaning;
— Deep cleaning of vehicle to the Trust’s infection control standards;
— Periodic exterior vehicle valet (cleaning and polishing/waxing);
— Management of resource centre/station operational stores and equipment;
— Replenishment of materials through the Trust’s computerised requisitioning/e-procurement system;
— Re-stocking of Trust-provided consumables;
— Pre-packing of consumables ready packs;
— Equipment cleaning and Checks;
— Asset Control and tracking;
— Equipment Servicing (notification of impending need for servicing only — maintenance will be carried out by Trust-nominated maintainers);
— Re-stocking of Medicines Bags;
— Pre-packing of Medicines Bags;
— Vehicle Daily Inspections;
— Roadworthiness Checks;
— Minor Running Repairs;
— Completion and return of Mileage Records;
— Vehicle Movements between sites to facilitate Make Ready;
— Vehicle Movements to implement flexible fleet management (FFM);
