Brief Scope of Requirements.
MTC are looking for partners to enable them to remain at the forefront of I.C.T. Technology. The scope of the tender is to cover the design and implementation services for provision of new capabilities, provision of hardware and software into the business network and the support of the systems at desktop, network and server level including provision of service desk capability, permanent on-site engineering support, and liaison with 3rd party software and hardware providers.
The MTC network comprises a mix of HP and Dell notebooks and desktops, HP networking, storage and blade servers. On the software side, MTC are primarily a Microsoft house, running Microsoft desktop tools and servers, with expansion into the Dynamics range of products. On the engineering side, MTC the MTC network hosts a mix of software from companies such as Siemens, Dassault Systems, Autodesk and Mathworks.
MTC currently has around 80 members of staff, growing by an average of two per week.
The tender will specifically exclude any high performance compute and virtual reality capabilities and some project specific related work.
