East Sussex County Council is seeking additional Direct Payment Support Services in East Sussex.
The proposed service will:
o Provide expert information and advice to all citizens, service users, carers, staff and any other interested parties
o Support people who wish to use Direct Payments to employ their own Personal Assistants
o Support people who wish to use Direct Payments for anything other than employing staff
o Provide a managed Direct Payment account service – either under contract to the Council or under a direct contract with the client / carer
o Provide a payroll service as a stand alone service or in conjunction with other services offered.
o Work in partnership with ESCC staff to increase the use of Direct Payments within East Sussex
Estimated value excluding VAT:
Range: between 300 000 and 500 000 GBP

Description of these options: The Council will have the option to to exercise two subsequent twelve monthly extensions subject to the continued requirement and successful supplier performance and service delivery. The contract value does not include the potential contract extensions.

The Council reserves the right to change the contract/service specification in accordance with legislative changes, service requirements and/or, changing market conditions and any other changes specified in the Invitation To Tender (ITT).
There is the option for two one year extensions to this contract.

The PQQ is available upon request from the contact point at Section I.1 from the date of despatch of this notice, and must be requested by 1 July 2013. The completed PQQ must be returned to the contact point at Section I.1 by the deadline date specified in Section IV 3.4.
