West Midlands and East Midlands ambulance services wish to each appoint a number of suitably qualified and equipped vehicle accident repair companies to provide body and mechanical repairs to ambulance service vehicles. Each Trust currently authorises approximately 300 repairs per annum with an approximate value of 500 000 GBP. The resulting contracts will operate for 36 months (subject to annual review) with an option to extend for a further 12 months.
