You are invited to tender for Arboricultural Work with Wolverhampton City Council commencing 1st March 2013.
This contract is for the provision of a sub-contractor to support the Council in Arboricultural Work to enhance the environment in which to live for its Citizens by creating a safer, healthier and caring city.
Your company should be a member of a nationally recognised Arboricultural Industry Organisation. Details of your membership should be included in your tender submission.
Method Statements and Risk Assessments must be included with your tender submission. These will be assessed before award of the contract.
Please Note: From the 1.7.2007 the Governments No Smoking in Public Places Policy comes into force. Wolverhampton City Council (inline with this legislation) has forbidden any Council employee from smoking while at work whether they are working inside or outside a building. This policy will also apply to any contractors undertaking any work on the Councils behalf.

The Council reserves the right to cancel the procurement and not to proceed with the contract.
The Council also reserves the right not to award a contract or to award a contract for parts or part of the services only.
The Council will not, under any circumstances, reimburse any expense incurred by bidders in preparing their PQQ or tender submissions.
The Council notes that the award of the contract may involve a transfer of employment undertakings pursuant to the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations 2006, and will clarify the position with the applicants during the tender process.
