Cardiff and Vale Local Health Board Charity has the requirement for investment management services. The charity is seeking innovative responses to deliver Investment Services commensurate with the responsibilities of NHS charities.
The contract will be for a period of 2 years commencing from 1.10.2019 with the Health Board option to extend for a maximum of a further 2 years.
The charity seeks to maximise the total return on funds held and the charity seeks to adopt a conservative policy on risk and previously has adopted a flexible structure in respect of asset class distribution. In terms of the current portfolio, the Local Health Board’s investments had a market value of 6 200 000 GBP as at March 2019 and the portfolio is broken down over various sectors as shown in the tender documents. The charity requires the successful supplier to manage the funds on behalf of the charity in accordance with the required charity commission and other legal requirements placed on NHS charities.
