The purpose of this Contract is to make provision for those building certificates required under the Energy Performance of Buildings (Certificates and Inspections) (England and Wales) Regulations and any amendments to it.

Display Energy Certificates at the Employer”s premises and those schools which make use of the Building Maintenance Buyback Scheme for provision of DECs. Energy Performance Certificates for premises being sold, leased or rented. Please note there are few of these every year and SCC has its own internal assessor although sometimes the support of an external body is required. Air conditioning Inspections. These exist for the Employer”s corporate portfolio. These will need updating during the term of this contract. Also it is believed some schools may require a certificate although this needs confirmation.

Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
Description of particular conditions: The supplier may be required to actively participate in the achievement of social and/or environmental objectives including those relating to recruitment, training and supply chain initiatives. Accordingly contract performance conditions may relate in particular to such social and/or environmental considerations. Further details ofthese conditions will be set out in the contract documents where relevant.

Section IV: Procedure
Objective criteria for choosing the limited number of candidates: In accordance with Articles 44 to 52 of Directive 2004/18/EC and Regulations 23 to 29 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 (as amended) and as set out in the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire.
Additional information about electronic auction: The Contracting Authority reserves the right to use an electronic auction option during the procurement process.
