The Trust is seeking to procure two cardiac catheter suites and have an input into managing other Cardiac Catheter suites in the Trust. The Trust will consider managed service and other solutions the final numbers will depend on affordability and solutions offered.
The composition of the requirement will depend on the solutions developed during the dialogue process and may comprise; provision and support of cardiac catheter equipment, provision and/or management of consumables. The solution will also include systems and services for supporting clinical research, business intelligence, and, costing, for the continued development of cardiac services for the Trust. The Trust will want to explore the information systems bidders can offer to support the clinical and business requirements.
The length of contract will depend on value for money considerations and the solutions offered and developed during the process. However it is envisaged the prime term will be no less than 5 years.
