The Catering Service provided must provide a light snack (e.g. a sandwich, drink and snack) that will be no more than the jurors’ subsistence allowance (currently 5,71 GBP).

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
Catering services accessible by staff, the Judiciary, Advocates, other Court Users, the general public and enable ushers/witness service to assist witnesses and jurors to purchase. The Catering Service provided must provide a light snack (e.g. a sandwich, drink and snack) that will be no more than the jurors’ subsistence allowance (currently 5,71 GBP).
The catering services are operated on a nil subsidy and nil cost basis on the premise that the Contractor will keep all revenues and subsequent profits generated from the services. The Authority however make no guarantees that the operation of the catering services will be profitable. The Authority will provide the successful Contractor access to the facilities on the court site and will not charge any rent or for the utilities used. The Authority will also allow the Contractor to use any existing equipment which might be on site, however this equipment will need to be maintained by the Contractor and returned upon expiry/termination in a similar condition as at contract start.
