II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and on-going service/maintenance of CPAP machines, masks, nasal pillows, tubing and associated consumables to the Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
The Trust has a requirement for CPAP machines, masks and pillows, tubing and associated consumables, in order to undertake these studies. Currently the Trust has 3620 patients on CPAP, of these patients approximately 1/3 of patients are from Hull, 1/3 from the East Riding and the other 1/3 are from the South Bank.
It is anticipated that the annual projection is approximately 690 patients to commence on CPAP treatment, which is over and above the 4 380 patients who are already on CPAP.
Lot 7: Continuous Positive Airways Pressure (CPAP) Disposable Full Face masks, are used in the ICU department at Hull Royal Infirmary (22 bedded unit) and Castle Hill Hospital (22 bedded unit).
