The University is seeking to appoint a contractor to maintain the Universitys Fire and Emergency Lighting Systems to a framework for up to 4 years. Full details of the scope of work will be provided in the tender documents which will only be sent to those who pre qualify via this process. The successful contractor must be BAFE registered or equivalent.
The following is a brief summary of the scope of the duties and you will be required to provide:
The range of service relates to a strict regime of planned maintenance, the ability to provide emergency response and capability to upgrade existing or install new systems. Including but not limited to the following:
— Fire alarm systems (Conventional, analogue addressable, wireless)
— Air sampling fire detection systems (Vesda)
— Emergency lighting systems (Central battery systems, self-contained and self-contained-self test)
— Fixed gaseous extinguishing systems (FM200 and Inergen)
— Fixed powder extinguishing systems (Ansul)
— Paging systems for the deaf (Deaf Alerter)
