Tender for Fleet Management System
The existing fleet management system (Fleetmaster) has been in place since 2006.
The existing fleet management system (Fleetmaster) has been in place since 2006 and prior to Fleetmaster the Council utilised a bespoke mainframe system (vehicle maintenance/fleet management/vehicle stores). There is a requirement to replace the existing fleet management system (Fleetmaster) with a more modern, sophisticated and mobile IT solution which has greater functionality, through continuous product development and on-going functionality improvements will future proof the service in line with the Council’s aspirations for digital transformation. A replacement system is necessary for the Council to progress towards Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) earned recognition for vehicle operators. The system will also provide improved management information and vehicle life cycle costing.
