One of Historic England’s core activities is managing grants that are disbursed to appropriate groups and individuals to undertake works that provide services or infrastructure to support heritage. Historic England were recently given approximately 40 000 000 GBP grant funding as part of a new government initiative to reinvigorate English High Streets and are seeking to implement a software system to help manage this scheme. Historic England are actively seeing to procure a ‘Commercial off the Shelf’ (COTS) software solution and associated delivery and support services.
