The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract by 8.7.2015 with a subsequent commencement date of 3.8.2015. Estimated value of the contract is approximately 200 000 GBP. The Contract Period will be for 58 weeks with no intention presently to extend the term further. The contract period shall comprise of the following:
— Installation Period — 4 working weeks (Monday to Friday) from the date of commencement.
— Hire Period — 52 working weeks (Monday to Friday) following completion of the installation period.
— Removal Period — 2 working weeks (Monday to Friday) upon expiry of the hire period.
The Works will commence during August 2015 and installation works must be undertaken within the school summer holiday period and completed by 28.8.2015. The form of contract used will be JCT 2011 Minor Works.
