It is intended to commission an Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA) service across Kent and Medway. The main purpose of this service is to work with domestic abuse victims, specifically supporting the work of Multi-agency risk assessment conferences (MARACs) and the Specialist Domestic Violence Courts (SDVCs) across Kent and Medway, with the aim of reducing the harmful effects domestic abuse has on its victims.
The contract is anticipated to run for three years and commence on or about 1.4.2013.
In order to gauge the market’s interest and shape the final requirements of the service, we wish to carry out a market engagement exercise in December 2013. We are now inviting expressions of interest from suitable providers of such services to participate in the market engagement exercise and attend a briefing event to be held at the Weald of Kent Hotel and Business Centre, nr Maidstone, Kent on Tuesday 11.12.2012. The event will also provide an opportunity for potential providers to meet each other with a view to forming bid consortiums.
Potential providers who are interested in participating in this market engagement exercise should, in the first instance, express an interest by e-mail only to business.development@kent.probation.gsi.gov.uk no later than 1200hrs (noon) on Tuesday 4th December.
