The University of East Anglia’s (UEA) School of Psychology requires a supplier to provide a Near Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS) Continuous Wave System, that is Custom Real-time Instrument for expansion up to 32 lasers and 32 detectors.
The School of Psychology is undertaking research into the brain processes that underlie changes in behaviour over development to enhance the understanding of how brain systems lead to changes in thinking over time. The equipment being tendered for is to be used to collect optical neuroimaging data across the lifespan to facilitate the study of brain systems, particularly in very young children and older adults.
