The service is also expected to have an increased focus on outreach, unmet need, early intervention and will deliver innovative solutions to support this work.

The initial period of the contract is three (3) years plus an additional two (2) twelve (12) month optional extension periods, giving a maximum of 60 months contract duration.

The Council is tendering for a related but separate contract, specialist family and carer support service for those affected by someone else’s drug and or alcohol misuse. It will not award both contracts to the same contractor.
