The ONS is intending to support the learning and development of its’ employees through a broad online learning offering. It is intended that this online offer is hosted on the organisation’s existing learning management technology (Totara) allowing for production of management information and reporting in a seamless way. It is also intended that all online learning is offered that allows for adaptive technology. All online learning will be SCORM compliant. The organisation has approximately 5 000 staff that they would be looking to roll this provision out too. The organisation objectives and the aim of the product is to create a wider e learning offer across our organisation by having access to just in time development that is tailored to the individual. This will allow individuals to assess what development they need to perform in role and to access a career pathway and create development plans.
