The University of Sheffield is out to tender for a micro CT scanner and analysis system to enable the study of the three dimensional morphometry of bone. The system needs to provide sufficiently effective resolution to repeatedly and accurately measure bone parameters in both trabecular and cortical bone, and to repeatedly and accurately capture and image whole bone morphology.
The micro CT scanner should fit into volume of 1 300 mm x 1 000 mm x 700 mm (LxHxD) or smaller and weigh less than 250 kg.
