The University of Southampton requires nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) equipment for hyperpolarized NMR experiments and small-scale magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). The equipment will have the facility for high-performance solution NMR and small-scale imaging. The equipment also includes a second NMR magnet to be used as a platform for the development, construction and testing of novel hyperpolarization, field-cycling, sample transport, and imaging protocols. Additional equipment is required to upgrade existing NMR facilities at the University of Southampton.
