This tender process is being conducted in order to procure the delivery of a pathology service to include mortuary provision and pathology services to the coronial district of Greater Manchester South.
The coronial district of Greater Manchester South, covers the 3 boroughs of Stockport, Trafford and Tameside. Stockport Council currently coordinates the resources to deliver the service on behalf of the 3 authorities. It is expected that the service will be delivered to the coronial district of Greater Manchester South, although the contract will be with Stockport Council as the lead authority.
