Rotherham Borough Council are seeking bids from organisations who have the capability and capacity to provide services that meet the current requirements for maintenance and reactive repairs of lifts and escalators in Council Buildings. The scope of works may include some elements of project works but this is not guaranteed. The total anticipated spend is in the region of 80 000 GBP to 100 000 GBP per annum, based on the last 3 years historical spend. However these costs are indicative and do not carry any guarantee of value or volume of business over the contract term. Actual future needs may vary up or down.

This opportunity is for the servicing, maintenance and responsive repairs to lifts and escalators in Council buildings, and should be conducted in accordance with the SAFed Guidelines, the relevant BS code of practice and manufacturer’s recommendations where applicable. The specification and list of locations and equipment to be serviced is included within the tender package.
There may be elements of major repairs and alterations when directed by the C.A and upon issue of a specific instruction.
