The framework will be for an initial period of 24 months with an option to extend for a further 24 months in increments of 12 months at the Council’s discretion subject to satisfactory performance and available funding.
The estimated value of the framework over the whole life of the framework including any extension periods is 1 000 000 GBP. This can be broken down between Lot 1 Residental Moves (340 000 GBP) and Lot 2 Commercial Moves (660 000 GBP). The values are purely indicative and based over the past four years spend. It should not be interpretated as a guarantee of contract value.

1)Short description

Relating to personal property, household goods, furniture and carpets being moved from / to domestic premises, licenced waste disposal facilities and Council approved recycling stores throughout South Lanarkshire Council geographical area and, at times outside South Lanarkshire Council geographical area.

The purpose of this lot is to appoint a ‘back up contractor’ to assist the Council with Removal and disposal services in relation to Council owned property, office equipment, furniture, school equipment and miscellaneous items being moved from / to non-domestic premises throughout the South Lanarkshire Council geographical area.
