The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames (The Council) invites organisations with relevant experience of providing specialist advocacy services (including Out of Borough Spot Purchasing) to submit bids for the above contract on behalf of Adult Social Care and Kingston Clinical Commissioning Group.
The requirement is for 5 types of advocacy:
— Care Act 2014 Advocacy,
— Independent Mental Capacity Act Advocacy (under the Mental Capacity Act),
— LD and MH Advocacy,
— Appropriate Adult Advocacy,
— Out of Borough Advocacy Support.
All types of advocacy are being tendered for as a single contract.
The anticipated contract commencement will be 1.4.2019 and will be for a period of three (3) years, with an optional extension of up to two (2) years (1 year + 1 year), to be exercised at the Council’s discretion.
