Public Health England (PHE) are looking to procure services to enable the preparation of comprehensive toxicological/epidemiological reviews for the Committee on Toxicity of Chemicals in Food, Consumer Products and the Environment (COT), Committee on Carcinogenicity of Chemicals in Food, Consumer Products and the Environment (COC), Committee on Mutagenicity of Chemicals in Food and the Consumer Products and the Environment (COM).

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
The preparation of comprehensive toxicological and/or epidemiological reviews will require the identification and critical appraisal of extensive published literature and/or, less commonly, of unpublished submissions on laboratory and other studies from industry.
The areas covered by these committees include but not limited to chemicals in the following areas: consumer products, environmental pollutants (air, soil, water and waste). In addition, the committees discuss general principles and new approaches to chemical risk assessment.
