Brighton and Hove City Council is seeking to appoint training providers to deliver qualifications programmes to in-house care staff working in Adult Social Care services and the Childrens Services and care staff working for Independent/Voluntary Sector Organisations in Brighton and Hove. Qualification provision will include Level 2, 3, 4 and 5 QCF qualifications. This is for an initial period of 12 months commencing in January 2014 (this may be extended by a further 12 or 24 months at the discretion of the Council). Brighton andHove City Council has contracted with training providers for social care qualifications provision since 2003. It is expected that the contractor: Will provide excellent quality of qualification provision.
Has a minimum of 3 years experience of relevant qualification provision. Has experience of delivering qualifications to social care staff working in Adult and/or Children and Young People settings. Will draw down all available funding for qualifications on behalf of the Council. Will be responsive and flexible to the qualification provision delivery needs of the Council. Is compliant with all health and safety, fire and COSHH regulations. Delivers qualifications as discrete programmes provided solely for the Council starting at times of the year specified by the Council.
