Translation services. Interpretation services. FCHO are seeking to procure an accurate high quality and confidential Translation and Interpretation Service for the organisation, and its, current and potential customers.
The purpose of the service for FCHO is to:
– Provide telephonic and face to face interpreting for whom spoken or written English presents a significant language or communication barrier to accessing FCHO’s services
– Provide written translation to agreed timescales
– Ensure all interpretation and translation work is clear and accurate
The translation and interpretation service is currently being accessed approximately 578 times for translation services and 89 times for interpretation services. The successful bidder will be required to provide FCHO with 24 hour interpretation cover for 365 days a year.
Occasionally FCHO employees may need to arrange emergency contacts with customers, to address a crisis issue, this might be at any reasonable locations e.g. FCHO offices, FHCO housing stock, private addresses and community venues.
The estimated value of this contract is in the range of £35,000 to £55,000 per annum.

The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs).
