Rehabilitation Engineering (RE) service is required to provide specialist engineering/technical skills and advice, combined with product knowledge, to support the wheelchair service assessment team in both the assessment process and the management of risk. The RE Service will work as part of the countywide wheelchair service assessment team and comply with the current service activity targets for waiting times, face to face contacts and response to priority referrals.
Please note that the procurement, delivery and collection of wheelchairs is provided by a separate service.
