VI.4.2)Lodging of appeals

Precise information on deadline(s) for lodging appeals: The Authority will incorporate a standstill period of at least 10 days following electronic or facsimile notification of award of a contract to tenderers in accordance with regulation 32A of the Public Contract (Amendment) Regulations 2009 (The Regulations). The Regulations also provide time limits and remedies for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rules. The general time limits for redress require proceedings to be started promptly and not more than 3 months from the date when grounds for taking proceedings arose. The special time limits for a declaration of contract ineffectiveness are 30 days from notification of the aggrieved tenderer that the contract has been concluded or if later was informed of a summary of the relevant reasons for the award of contract. In all cases action must be taken in the High Court (England, Wales and Northern Ireland).
