1. To develop and deliver customised training and skills packages that will meet the needs of employers and individual vulnerable young people aged 16-19 (16-24 for LLDD) already in employment who need extra up-skilling to ensure more sustainable employment outcomes with increased employer buy in. This will include those young people who are in full-time, temporary or part time employment and formulated to meet individual needs and will provide a transferable portfolio of work-readiness and employability training, skills and experiences.
2. To work with employers to help identify and mitigate the reasons for attrition amongst the most vulnerable young people and how they can support young people to sustain, thrive and progress in employment to the mutual benefit of all and enhance workforce development
We will target £228,000 over 2.5 years of the Co-Financing Plan on these initiatives in Lincolnshire.
We expect to help a minimum of 130 young people who fall within the target groups over this period and work with a minimum of 30 employers.
