Description
Mendip District Council would like to invite you to quote for Consultancy; Topographical Studies, Highways Studies and Delivery Services at 4 locations in the District.
Mendip District Council owns land at Cemetery Lane, Street, Easthill Cemetery, Frome, North Parade Car Park, Frome and Norbins Road Car Park, Glastonbury which have been identified as potentially being suitable for residential development.
As a preliminary stage to promoting the land for development the Council wishes to ensure that sites are suitable for development and satisfactory vehicular access can be provided to service the individual sites and then, if appropriate, to proceed to undertake the Highways works required so that a development partner can be sought. It is anticipated that highways and junction improvements may be required to provide full and proper access to the site.
The specification in the Invitation to Quote document, sets out the Scope of Services that the selected consultant will be appointed to undertake, and the procurement process that will apply.
