Bournemouth Borough Council’s Housing Landlord Services is looking to establish a framework of sub-contractors to support its operational delivery of Electrical works primarily within the Council’s owned estate of residential dwellings and corporate buildings, but not exclusively. The Council currently have an in house team who complete works to the Council’s residential estate. However, in order to ensure flexibility with all works required by the Council’s in house team, the Council are setting up a framework of Suppliers who can be called upon to complete works in periods of high volume. The Council requires an electrician or team to undertake a series of response based works, planned and capital works as detailed with the schedule. Prospective tenderer’s must be able to evidence experience and technical qualifications related to trade to an NVQ or similar recognised standard. Electrical works may include running new circuits, ring mains, supplies as well as general repair works. An ability to provide PAT testing and full Test and Inspect compliant to the current NIC EIC regulations is essential. The Council is looking to set up a framework of ten suppliers who can be called upon to undertake electrical works. Suppliers interested in being on this framework should express an interest in the opportunity to access the documents that will need to be completed. Once the documents have been completed, they will need to be submitted electronically by Thursday 30th October 2014 at 14:00.
