With the option available to the Council to extend the Contract for up to a further 12 months until 28.2.2019 and a final option for the Council to extend the Contract for up to 12 months until 29.2.2020.
Halton Borough Council is looking to enter into a contract for the supply, installation, maintenance and removal of Traffic Management to allow grass cutting and other highway maintenance functions to be carried out on the high speed road network within Halton. These services may also be required to enable the safe running of a variety of events throughout the borough and other possible requirements.
The grass cutting programme is based on a 5 week cycle, which is carried out up to 5 times a year. The work is due to commence late March 2016.

There is no guarantee of work under this Contract.
Contract Period: From 1.3.2016 to 28.2.2018.
With the option available to the Council to extend the Contract for up to a further 12 months until 28.2.2019 and a final option for the Council to extend the Contract for up to 12 months until 29.2.2020.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 250 000 GBP

Description of these options: The Council may offer up to 2 extensions of the Contract Period by a period of up to one year each.
Where the Contract term is extended under this provision the Contract shall be so extended on the same terms as this Contract.
Contract value has been stated as 250 000 GBP. This is an estimate as this is a call off contract and is based on the initial 2 year term. The estimated value would increase to potentially 375 000 GBP if one extension was offered and potentially 500 000 GBP if both extensions were offered.

III.2.1)Personal situation of economic operators, including requirements relating to enrolment on professional or trade registers
(2) All candidates will be required to produce a certificate or declaration demonstrating that the candidate, their directors, or any other person who has powers of representation, decision or control of the candidate has not been convicted of conspiracy, corruption, bribery, or money laundering. (8) All candidates will be required to produce a certificate or declaration demonstrating that they have fulfilled obligations relating to the payment of social security contributions under the law of any part of the United Kingdom or of the relevant State in which the candidate is established.
(9) All candidates will be required to produce a certificate or declaration demonstrating that they have fulfilled obligations relating to the payment of taxes under the law of any part of the United Kingdom or of the relevant State in which the economic operator is established.
